This two day Managing Strategic Change and Company Growth program will teach participants techniques that will help them be more deliberate about how they manage change and growth. Module titles are: Communicating Strategic Change, and Implementing Strategic Initiatives: Managing The Change Process.

Participants in the Managing Strategic Change and Company Growth training program will learn the skills to:

• Apply team process improvements and problem solving techniques
• Effectively communicate a vision and strategic direction for the company
• Deal with internal opposition and resistance to change
• Help create a culture of accountability and responsibility

Module Overview

Module 1: Communicating Strategic Change Change management entails thoughtful planning and sensitive implementation, and above all, consultation with, and involvement of, the people affected by the changes

By the end of this module, participants will learn to:

• Communicate the need for change
• Create the vision for change
• Establish a system-wide process for communicating change
• Actively participate in communicating the change strategy among all key constituencies

Module 2: Implementing Strategic Initiatives:

Managing The Change Process Getting people to work together has a direct bearing on the "Now what?" question that frequently stumps organizations shaping their change strategies. This module will focus on what needs to be done from a people standpoint to help make change happen. By the end of this module, participants will learn to:

• Set clear goals that get beyond surface issues
• Understand what in the organization’s current culture works for and against these goals
• Establish a participatory structure that allows those affected to organize how and when changes will happen
• Include as a team norm making individuals accountable
• Evaluate and reflect on what’s working and what can be improved
