Employee Engagement is a concept at the heart of all our work. Our goal is to help clients create a culture that is more inclusive, spirited and productive by cultivating a heightened level of ownership and pride. In this culture individuals employ and express themselves physically, cognitively, and emotionally in their given roles. Engaged employees do whatever they can for the benefit of their internal and external customers, and for the success of the organization as a whole. We know it is possible to create these cultures using our 3C Model.
Our Model
Our Methodology
From our years of experience in psychology and the arts we have created experiential approaches that cater to the adult learner. We do formal assessments using one-to-one interviews and focus groups with leaders and employees to get to the heart of what’s working and what needs to change in the organization. We then work with our clients to develop solutions that help make lasting change through:
- Experiential Training
- Individual coaching
- E-learning
Some of Our Influences
Daniel Goleman, is a psychologist who has spent many years studying the concept that has come to be known as Emotional Intelliegence (EI). Goleman, in his ground-breaking book “Emotional Intelligence”, defines EI as our capacity for recognizing our own feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, and for managing emotions well in ourselves and in our relationships.
Csikszentmihalyi is a psychologist at Claremont University who studied the relationship between happiness and creativity and discovered individuals can enter a somewhat altered state he calls Flow. He defines Flow as the ‘holistic sensation’ that people feel when they act with total involvement. Flow is the state in which there is little distinction between the self and the environment. When individuals are in Flow State little conscious control is necessary for their actions.
Loehr and Schwartz are coaches and authors of the book, "The Power of Full Engagement." They have taken the lessons they've learned from their years of working with and coaching athletes, to help executives and managers become more fully engaged on and off the job. They define Full Engagement as being physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused, and spiritually aligned.
The Gallup Organization did two mammoth research studies in which they surveyed over a million people. In the first study they asked, “What do the most talented employees need from their workplace?” Based on those answers, they did a second study and they surveyed managers and asked the question, “How do the world’s greatest managers find, focus, and keep talented employees?” The answers to these questions yielded a book “First Break all the Rules”. This book is full of discoveries about how to engage employees. Their excellent research is at the heart of all our work.
